My work is deeply rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to realize their self-worth and sense of empowerment. I am dedicated to supporting women and children, with a special place in my heart for immigrant women and children. I draw on my own experiences to empathize with and advocate for those navigating similar paths. My goal is to help individuals uncover their potential and achieve a sense of fulfillment, leveraging my education and personal background to make a tangible impact in their lives. I also can provide therapy sessions in Spanish.
Born in Guatemala and moved to the United States at the age of six, I have cultivated a profound understanding of the immigrant experience, particularly the challenges faced by women and children. This personal journey has not only shaped my worldview but also fueled my passion for social justice and empowerment. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago and a Master’s degree from DePaul University, where my studies were informed by my commitment to serving marginalized communities.
As a professional, my approach is holistic and compassionate, aiming to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. I am driven by the conviction that empowerment is not just a personal journey but a collective one, where shared experiences and understanding can lead to profound societal change. I work with children, teens, and adults.
