Starting therapy is a brave step—and you deserve a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. I offer a warm, affirming environment where your story matters, your strengths are honored, and healing happens at your own pace.
I work with children, teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and the complexities of living between cultures. I have a deep commitment to supporting immigrants and children of immigrants, especially those balancing multiple cultural identities. As someone who immigrated from Guatemala at the age of six, I understand how powerful it is to feel seen, heard, and understood in a space that honors your lived experience.
I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from DePaul University in Chicago, where I was trained in evidence-based practices as well as culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. My approach is holistic, creative, and grounded in cultural humility. In addition to talk therapy, I often incorporate art, crafts, and body movement into sessions—especially when words don’t feel like enough. These tools can support self-expression, emotional regulation, and healing in ways that feel natural and empowering.
Therapy with me is inclusive, collaborative, and rooted in a deep commitment to social justice. I welcome people of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences. I also offer sessions in both English and Spanish.
If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out. Whether you’re ready to begin or simply exploring your options, I’m here to walk alongside you—at your pace, in your way.
