1) CLIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR (Full-Time)

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

The Client Services Coordinator will manage administrative processes to ensure accuracy of client accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee insurance verification, client documentation, claim submission and resolution, collections, and client inquiry functions
  • Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
  • Provide insurance verification, enter data in client accounts, and communicate information to designated clinical staff for case assignment
  • Review denials and follow-up with insurance companies on rejections and/or discrepancies
  • Resolve any claim issues and resubmit claims, if warranted
  • Check clinicians schedule to ensure billing accuracy
  • Assist with identifying clients with significant outstanding balances and preparing payment agreements to resolve balance issues
  • Communicate client outstanding balances to client and clinical staff
  • Provide clinical staff with support and troubleshooting to assure accurate documentation and payment of services
  • Create and present necessary reports to the leadership team
  • Maintain accurate client files
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings
  • Assist supervisor in identifying and analyzing patterns of claim denials and identifying corrective actions or training needs of clinical staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information
  • Greet clients as they enter into the office
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge and skills in problem identification and quality assurance
  • Ability to act with discretion and professionalism in all situations
  • Experience with HER, practice management billing software, preferably for behavioral health
  • Basic understanding of insurance types and benefits
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), G-Suite, and associated applications
  • Must possess the ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports
  • Promote positive image of Couch Clarity with all clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

Education and Experience

  • Associates degree preferably in medical billing, business or healthcare management/administration, or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Preferably one (1) year experience in medical billing
  • Must have a minimum, two (2) years medical/behavioral health administrative experience

 Schedule/Time Keeping

  • Exempt, Full-Time, Salaried, 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule: Monday through Friday, with the possibility of one Saturday a month
  • Time Keeping- Accurately record hours worked on the log sheet on a daily basis in accordance with the timekeeping policy

2) Therapist (Part-Time)

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary:

A Therapist will offer counseling and mental health services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and other psychological disorders. Therapists will give clients empathetic, compassionate, and authentic therapeutic services and offer support, information and tools required for making a positive change in their clients’ lives.

Education and Experience

  • Masters degree from an accredited college or University in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or closely related field required
  • LSW/LCSW or LPC/LCPC in the state of Illinois preferred, but will consider applicants that are eligible to sit for the Illinois exam in the near future
  • Must have at least one year of supervised experience in providing in-person counseling and/or psychotherapy services
  • Must demonstrate knowledge in areas of diagnostic assessment and long and short term treatment
