YOGA FOR TRAUMA AND STRESS MANAGEMENT

Sundays 6:30pm-7:30pm and Mondays 7pm-8pm (Starting June 11, 2023)

Yoga has been shown to be significantly effective for managing stress and trauma symptoms by positively impacting our Heart Rate Variability (HRV) which fosters more resilience to stress and trauma. This group is led by Jenni Sefcik, RYT 200 hr and LCSW, and is formatted to allow space to practice mindful coping skills and stress management skills through yoga flows using both Vinyasa and Hatha yoga sequences. Each class will incorporate asana (pose) work and mindfulness meditation within the 60 minute timeframe.

3-day camp for 10-12 year olds looking to build their self-confidence. Learn ways to use art, mindfulness, and movement techniques to manage stress and anxiety and boost self awareness.  Work on social skills while being part of a small group of your peers.

Traditional On The Couch Therapy

We provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Our sessions are 53 minutes long and we create a treatment plan and goals for our clients based on their unique therapeutic needs. Some clients need weekly sessions, while others might be bi-weekly or monthly. Our experienced team will help you decide what type of treatment plan is best for you.

Couch Clarity is a private practice model created by Melissa Bercier, PhD, LCSW. Couch Clarity’s environment is part of the treatment process. The office space provides a healing milieu where our clients feel at ease, safe, and comfortable. All of our therapists are trained and supervised by Dr. Bercier and Callie Oetking, LCSW which ensures that all team members are following protocols that are compassionate and empathetic.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy is a refreshing way to deal with the issues that you are facing. Walk and talk not only involves a mild form of exercise but it also eases your mind, clears your head, and helps you feel more comfortable discussing your issues when you are outdoors and in nature.

Walk and talk therapy is an effective time-saving approach for working on life issues while also getting exercise. A number of studies have demonstrated a positive relationship between exercise and mental health. Walk and talk therapy reinforces mental health in a natural, holistic approach that releases endorphins.

Walk and talk therapy can help to:
