Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
Seeking support can take tremendous courage, especially when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or painful. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, or the impact of trauma, you deserve a space that feels safe, respectful, and deeply compassionate, a space where you are truly seen and heard.
My role is to walk alongside you with care and curiosity as we explore what healing and growth can look like for you. Together we’ll work to understand your experiences, honor your emotions, and reconnect you with the strengths and resilience that already exist within you. So often it’s disconnection from ourselves, from others, or from meaning that causes us pain. I believe that healing happens in connection through relationships built on trust, empathy, and shared understanding.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in respect for your lived experience. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. These tools are always tailored to fit your unique needs, not the other
way around. My work is also grounded in a humanistic and person-centered approach, honoring your autonomy, your voice, and your capacity for growth.
As a social worker, I recognize the profound ways that our environments, relationships, communities, and systems shape our wellbeing. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens to all of my work and strive to create a space where people of all identities and backgrounds feel safe and affirmed.
In addition to working with a wide range of mental health concerns, I have over a decade of experience as a patient advocate for individuals and families living with bleeding disorders. I understand the layered challenges of coping with chronic health conditions.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from The Catholic University of America, a certification in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, in pain, or simply longing for change, you’re not alone and don’t have to do it all on your own.
I would be honored to support you in discovering the strength, hope, and healing that already live within you. After all, “rarely can a response make something better. What makes something better is connection.” -Brené Brown
